GGE Biplot Analysis for Yield Stability of Lentil Genotypes

The experiment was conducted at three different locations of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute viz., PRC, Ishurdi, Pabna, PRSS, Joydebpur, Gazipur and RARS, Jashore, during the period November to March in 2014-15 2015-16. laid out Randomized Complete Block Design with replications. Variance analysis showed significant interaction between genotype environment on yield its related traits. highest recorded genotypes BARI Masur-7 followed by Masur-6, Masur-5, Masur-4 lowest BLX-66004-12. PCA (Principal component analysis) scores a GGE indication stability or adaptation over environments. biplot that PC1 PC2 for traits, i.e. 80.8% 11.7% days flowering, 72.4% 18.7% maturity, 66.3% 15.4% plant height, 73.8% 17.3% pods/plant, 70.1% 22.8% 100 seed weight 38.37% 31.04% total variation, respectively. Considering regression co-efficient values also most stable variety Masur-5 Masur-6 BLX-05002-6. Among six environments, Ishurdi were discriminating (informative) Jashore 2015-16 less discriminating. two years (2014-15 2015-16) location found favorable lentil production.
